Bob Clark

Bob Clark, founded Clayco, a full-service, turnkey, design-build construction company in 1984. Over 40 years, Bob has developed Clayco into one of the leading design-build companies in America. Under Bob’s leadership, Clayco challenges the industry’s status quo looking for innovative improvements in safety, sustainability, inclusion, and diversity.

Bob dedicates his time and resources to addressing critical issues, including children's needs, education, and rare disease research projects, and supports strong civic leadership. Bob served as a longtime trustee of several institutions, including the University of Chicago Medical Center, Loyola University Chicago, and After School Matters, a program that empowers and inspires Chicago teens to discover their passions and develop skills for a life after high school. Appointed by President Biden in August 2021, Bob served as the U.S. Commissioner General of the USA Pavilion at the World Expo 2020 Dubai.
